Everything Cork does

a feature list that admits what it won’t do.

Seven capabilities, each with the benefit, the workflow it slots into, and the catch. We list the catch because you’ll find it eventually, and we’d rather you hear it from us.

01 / Living brand kit

one kit every template reads from

Logos, hex codes, font files and clear-space rules live in a single kit. Templates don’t copy those values, they point at them. Change Russet once and every post, ad and flyer built on it refreshes, with a count so you can watch it finish.

Where it fits

A rebrand lands on Monday. Priya edits the kit, checks the preview, hits apply. By lunch there’s nothing left to resend.

The catch — applying republishes across every design. Preview first.

02 / Locked templates

freedom where it’s safe, a padlock where it isn’t

Each template element is either locked or open. Headline font, logo spacing and palette are locked. Photos, copy and captions are open. Someone picking a typeface outside the kit gets told which two they can use, not a lecture.

Where it fits

Sales builds a one-off promo at 4:50 p.m. on a Friday without messaging the designer, and it still looks like the rest of the feed.

The catch — unlocking takes an admin. That’s on purpose, and it includes you.

03 / Content calendar

see the week before it goes out

Every scheduled post sits on one calendar with its real preview, not a title in a spreadsheet cell. Spot the three Instagram posts stacked on Wednesday while Thursday sits empty, and drag one over. Studio and Atelier plans publish approved posts straight to your channels; Sketch exports files instead.

The catch — the calendar schedules and publishes. It doesn’t write your captions or tell you the best time to post.

04 / Mockup generator

the tote bag, before the tote bag exists

Tick the surfaces, pick a kit color for the base, and Cork places your artwork on packaging, glassware and apparel in one click. Six variants, three surfaces, no 3D software and no waiting on a designer.

Where it fits

A pitch deck on Thursday, a launch post on Friday. Merch that looks real enough to get a yes.

The catch — the surface list is fixed. These are for decks and posts, not for sending to a printer.

05 / Comments and approvals

feedback lives on the post

Comment on the exact slide, tag whoever can say yes, and approve a stack at once when the queue gets long. On Atelier, approvals follow roles, so a post that needs compliance can’t quietly skip compliance.

Where it fits

Tessa flags slide three, Hana fixes it, Dario approves it, all before the Monday stand-up.

The catch — approvals add a step. The step just stops being a meeting.

06 / Searchable library

find “autumn label, horizontal” in one search

Logos, photos and every approved post are tagged on the way in, so ⌘K finds the file instead of a folder called Final_v7. Storage runs from 2 GB on Sketch up from there; Atelier hosts custom font files too.

Where it fits

A new hire needs last autumn’s label. They search, they find it, they don’t ask in chat.

The catch — tags are only as good as what goes in. Cork suggests them, a person confirms them.

07 / Version history

undo a rebrand idea that didn’t survive Monday

Every kit change is a version with an author and a date. Compare two, roll back to one, and every design follows the kit back. It’s the safety net that makes it fine to say yes to experiments.

Where it fits

The deeper red looked great on a laptop and awful on a pint glass. Roll back to v13 in one click, and every design catches up again.

The catch — rolling back reverts the kit, not the copy people wrote in their posts.

The honest list

what cork doesn’t do, so you can stop wondering

Not included

invent your brand

Someone has to decide the rules once. Cork enforces them; it won’t write them.

Not included

export beyond png and jpg

Those two formats, on every plan. No PDF print-ready packs, no video.

Not included

write your captions

Captions stay open for people to write. Cork only checks that the headline and logo behave.

Not included

custom photoshoots

The mockup surface list is fixed. If you need a real shoot, hire a photographer.

Security, reliability, plumbing

the boring parts, stated plainly

roles that mean something

Admins unlock rules, editors build, reviewers approve, viewers look. On Atelier you also get SSO and audit logs, so you can see who unlocked the headline and when. Sketch and Studio use roles without SSO.

sync you can see

Every window shows when it last synced. Unsaved edits are flagged, not silently lost.

status, in public

Outages and fixes are posted on the status page and recorded in the changelog.

your files stay your files

Logos and fonts you upload are used to build your designs and nothing else. Atelier’s custom font hosting keeps licensed typefaces behind your own workspace.

Integrations

it plugs into where you already plan and store

Cork doesn’t ask you to move your stack. Campaign tasks stay in your project tool, finished files land in your drive, and the calendar listens to yours.
